Why Should You Help ?

Good Question. Let's see, what are we doing with our lives?

 

At the end of every day are you able to sit down, reflect and know that you have changed the world around you? Why are we so complacent? How much longer will we allow our insecurities control tomorrow’s outcome? Our country, lives, finances, homes, marriages and families are being handed over to the devil on a silver platter, and why? Perhaps comfort, perhaps lack of motivation, lack of knowledge, selfishness, a spirit of laziness; both physical and spiritual, and the list goes on. It is my prayer that you will not live one more day without choosing do something. So many people today don’t agree with the path the world is taking, but feel as though they can’t, or choose not to, do anything about it because the problems are too big. The problems are BIG but Christ is bigger. He sent us out to make disciples and to follow Him. We don’t have the right to decide to spend one more day as a professing Christ follower, sitting in our living rooms, watching TV, wasting time and thinking about how bad this country, this world, these neighborhoods, and these churches and schools are getting and not do anything about it.

I pray you will get a righteous anger in the inside of you. That a fire will be lit in your belly for the injustice of your neighbor not having a coat and you having two. For the hurting, dying family living on the block in your neighborhood that you drive by everyday. For the homeless addict that many may scoff at from their car. I pray that God will grab a hold of you anyway necessary and NEVER let you go. I pray that from this moment on you will NEVER be the same. You CAN change the world! You can change your home and your neighborhood. Jesus said we would do even greater things than Him. (John 14:12) But be prepared, once you understand that nothing is no longer an option you will be held accountable for how you use your time and resources. However, I can also tell you when you choose to do something however big or small, you will be so radically blessed and fulfilled that you will want to live the rest of your life for the glory of this great,  mighty and sovereign God. 


Acts 10:38 “… God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power. And HE WENT ABOUT DOING GOOD and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because GOD WAS WITH HIM.”
